Re-elected President of the Africa development Bank, Dr Akinwunmi Adeshina has sworn-in for a five year second term. The swearing in ceremony held Tuesday was attended by Heads of states, Governors and other stakeholders who joined physically and virtually.
The former Nigeria minister of Agriculture was re-elected last week to a second term of five years with a 100 percent vote of all governors, and regional and non regional members of the bank after a long drown probe of his activities. His first term as President of Africa’s Premier development finance institution, comprising 54 regional and 27 non regional members countries, focused on five key development priorities tagged high 5s. These included light up and power Africa, fed Africa, industrialize Africa; integrate Africa; and improve the quality of life for the people of Africa
