Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has torn into the Premier League amid Covid concerns which are currently wreaking havoc on the domestic football schedule. Only four top-flight fixtures went ahead this weekend and the Blues dropped two more points in their quest to keep pace with the division’s high-flyers as they drew 0-0 with Wolves.
Tuchel’s side was part of a game to forget on Sunday afternoon, with Wolves hosting a drab 0-0 stalemate.
Chelsea registered just one shot on target during the course of the match, with their much-changed side struggling to pose a threat.
The game at Molineux was one of only four to go ahead in the Premier League this weekend, with Covid outbreaks leading to widespread postponements.
And the Blues had suffered a minor outbreak of their own, although the Premier League deemed that it was not serious enough to call the game off.
