Leicester City is sounding out potential managerial candidates as they prepare to sack Brendan Rodgers during the international break, sources have revealed
The 49-year-old is on the brink of being fired by the Foxes in the wake of their humiliating 6-2 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday.
Leicester chiefs are preparing for a change of manager and are assessing possible replacements for Rodgers.
He has three years remaining on his contract and will be in line for a £10million-plus pay-out if he is dismissed, but that will not stop the Foxes from letting him go.
Relations between Rodgers and the board have been tense for some time and soured further during what was a painful summer transfer window for the manager.
